This project expresses the dialog between the stepped mass and the pitched roof nested on it. The villa’s concrete stepped element forms this way for acquiring a view of the Damavand volcano for all the villa’s three levels. Each step consists of open and closed spaces that are connected by a bridge. The pitched roof nests on the steps to cover the open spaces and make them function as an interior space. However, by cutting sides of the roof, it enables balconies on each side of the step.
